Growing up, we are all faced with competition in various sports and activities- some more than others! Many of us you could say are so competitive we motivate ourselves based on our ability to stand-out. OCMC offers students the opportunity to develop skills that make them shine amongst their peers- skills that provide an edge over the average graduate. As a competitive athlete and musician growing-up, the drive to motivate myself through competition was what made me tick. As an OCMC competitor last year, I can say it was our team’s ability to carry that same drive that inspired our momentous performance. In the business world today, it's evident that only those who stand-out are given the opportunities to work with strong organizations- and this province-wide competition lets students do just that! OCMC highlights the reality of business and shows students what it's like to be a part of a cohesive team.
